1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Future Task ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Future Task (contact: [email protected]).
2. Description of Service
Future Task is a productivity platform providing task management, calendar, notes, habits, AI assistance, team collaboration, and related features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service with reasonable advance notice where possible. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
3. Account Registration & Security
You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised account use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscription Plans & Payments
The Service offers Free, Premium (€2.49/month or equivalent annually), and Pro (€6.49/month or equivalent annually) plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance via PayPal. All prices include applicable VAT for EU customers. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no refund for the remaining period, except where required by applicable consumer law.
5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
If you are an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of your initial subscription purchase, unless you have already used the paid features (in which case the right of withdrawal may be waived per Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). To exercise this right, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; upload offensive, defamatory, or illegal content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts; reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service; use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the Service; or resell or redistribute access to the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Future Task and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your content (tasks, notes, etc.) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant Future Task a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.
8. AI Features & Credits
AI features consume credits allocated per plan. AI-generated content is provided as-is and may not always be accurate. Do not rely on AI outputs for professional, medical, legal, or financial decisions. Unused monthly credits do not carry over. Purchased credit packs do not expire. We reserve the right to adjust credit allocations with reasonable notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Future Task shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, without refund. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Data deletion following termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable EU law. If you are an EU consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. For disputes, we encourage resolution via email to [email protected]. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. If court proceedings are necessary, you may bring them before the courts of your country of residence.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
